It looked like the just what I have been needing for my shop exhaust fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2RdP9VH\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1442\" height=\"1500\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/mikestrawbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/treemote.jpg?fit=525%2C546\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4640\" srcset=\"http:\/\/mikestrawbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/treemote.jpg 1442w, http:\/\/mikestrawbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/treemote-288x300.jpg 288w, http:\/\/mikestrawbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/treemote-768x799.jpg 768w, http:\/\/mikestrawbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/treemote-984x1024.jpg 984w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>I have the fan wired to come on with the lights but in the winter, I don&#8217;t always want it on.  Since ti is mouthed high in the end wall of the shop accessit to turn on the switch is a bit of a pain.  I could have run wires to the ground to make it easier but I just have not taken time to do so. I just think about it every time I climb up to turn on or off the fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now I have the Treemote!  I mounted the remote near the front door so I can now easily turn on and off the fan with no climbing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2RdP9VH\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"315\" height=\"560\" src=\"http:\/\/mikestrawbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/treemote1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4639\" srcset=\"http:\/\/mikestrawbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/treemote1.jpg 315w, http:\/\/mikestrawbridge.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/treemote1-169x300.jpg 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 315px) 100vw, 315px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Searching Amazon, I noticed several more appropriate switched outlets but for now I like my <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2RdP9VH\">Treemote.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Adding remote control to my shop exhaust fan.
